Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Applied Economics within the Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education. The candidate will develop and deliver courses with an emphasis on data science and analytics.

The role requires strong research in econometrics with computational methods, leadership of the Analytical Survey Laboratory, and a commitment to teaching a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in agricultural/applied economics, economics, agribusiness, or related field by appointment.
• Evidence of strong quantitative methods and potential for building a research/teaching program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course content in agribusiness/applied economics with emphasis on data science and analytics.
• Lead the Department’s Analytical Survey Laboratory and contribute to research portfolio growth.
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching and curriculum development; serve department, college, university and community.
