Alvernia University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting. The position supports undergraduate and graduate programs across day, online, and hybrid formats in the Header School of Business.

The candidate will teach, advise, and participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and department initiatives, contributing to experiential learning and service within the university community.

Qualifications

• CPA or Ph.D. in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
• Ability to integrate diverse pedagogical approaches in various learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in traditional day, accelerated adult, online, and hybrid formats.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and departmental initiatives.
• Engage in service to the department, college, and university consistent with Alvernia's mission.
