Alvernia University seeks part-time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate accounting courses for Fall 2026. Courses include Advanced Accounting and Federal Taxation, scheduled on Tue/Thu. Classes will be held in person at Reading, PA, with the John R. Post Center location used for instruction.

Applicants must hold at least a master’s degree in accounting or a related field, and undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Start date 8/24/2026 through 12/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience teaching accounting at the undergraduate level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach BUS 301: Advanced Accounting, Tue/Thu 12:30 PM–1:45 PM.
• Teach BUS 304: Federal Taxation, Tue/Thu 9:30 AM–10:45 AM.
• In-class instruction at the John R. Post Center, Reading PA.
• Assist with syllabi, assessments and course materials as needed.

BUS 301: Advanced Accounting, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM

BUS 304: Federal Taxation, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM
