Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks a full-time, tenure-track Accounting faculty member beginning Spring 2026. The teaching load is 15 credits per semester, or 30 credits per academic year, primarily teaching both introductory and advanced accounting courses. Additional duties include student advising, college service, and ongoing professional development.

• Master's level business education with accounting focus or related field.
• Ability to use instructional technology in teaching and assessment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in college-level accounting instruction desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and advanced accounting courses; load 15 credits/semester.
• Advise students and participate in college service and development.
• Contribute to program and course assessment activities.
• Assist in textbook selection and alignment with policies.
• Prepare annual budget materials for departmental needs.
