Qualifications

• CPA or other relevant professional certification.
• Experience designing and teaching online, hybrid, or in‑person courses.
• Demonstrated ability to apply inclusive, student‑centered teaching practices.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction, including QuickBooks and other accounting apps.
• Willingness to teach across multiple modalities (on‑campus, hybrid, and online).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission of the community college.
• Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative methods for teaching accounting and business courses.
• Teach in all modalities with emphasis on on-site.
• Utilize active learning and varied instructional strategies.
• Participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
• Integrate QuickBooks, Excel, and data analytics into coursework.
• Provide student advising on academics and transfer.
• Collaborate with colleagues and governance bodies.
• Contribute to program and general education outcomes assessment.
