Job summary

Sportime is seeking an Assistant Director of Tennis at our New Rochelle site to oversee the 5-star program quality and drive profitability. The ADT works with the Director of Tennis and the Global Tennis Department, supervises coaches, recruits, interviews, and mentors staff, and ensures smooth scheduling of private and group instruction, leagues, and events.

A strong knowledge of USTA, UTR and ITF landscapes is required.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching players of all ages and abilities.
• Knowledge of USTA, UTR and ITF competitive landscapes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear feedback.
• Ability to recruit, interview and supervise coaching staff.
• On-court teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and profitability of all tennis‑related programs, services, and deliverables.
• Provide high-quality coaching and service to members and guests.
• Coordinate communication between site tennis departments and other company sites.
• Hire, train, mentor, supervise coaching staff.
• Attend on-site and off-site departmental meetings.
• Cross promote pickleball and multi-sport divisions.
• Assist with marketing and branding initiatives.
• Assume DOT responsibilities when DOT is off-site.
