Job summary

SPORTIME is seeking an Assistant Director of Tennis to work with the Director of Tennis and Global Tennis Department to ensure 5-star program quality across all tennis offerings, leagues, and events.

You will recruit, hire, and mentor coaches, manage scheduling, and collaborate with other site departments while promoting pickleball and multi-sport programs. Knowledge of USTA/UTR/ITF landscapes is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial tennis industry experience
• Knowledge of tennis pedagogy to coach all ages and abilities
• Experience running tennis tournaments and events
• Strong communication with clear feedback
• Ability to lead and mentor staff

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and profitability of tennis programs
• Provide coaching to members and guests
• Coordinate communication between tennis departments and other sites
• Hire, train, mentor, supervise coaching staff
• Attend on-site and off-site department meetings
• Cross-promote pickleball and multi-sport divisions
• Assist marketing and branding initiatives
• Assume DOT responsibilities when off-site
