Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking Part-Time RecTennis Instructors and Site Directors to run programs at local parks and schools. The roles involve creating a safe, engaging learning environment and delivering curriculum with professional parent and partner communications.

The organization values inclusivity and community impact, with responsibilities including equipment management, attendance checks, and occasional travel between sites. Prior tennis teaching is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis is preferred.
• Instructors must be 14+ years old; Site Directors must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide ongoing instruction at program sites.
• Set up and break down equipment; ensure safety and transport may be required.
• Supervise attendance and parent sign-off; stay until participants are picked up.
• Support marketing activities and assist at events as needed.
• Represent USTA PNW products and services to advance the mission.
