Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Associate to provide top-notch customer service at our Washington tennis facilities. The role involves managing memberships, reservations, and POS transactions, while maintaining a welcoming environment for members and guests.

You will report to the Facility Operations Coordinator/Specialist and help ensure smooth front desk operations across Vancouver, Mint Valley, and Galbraith centers.

Qualifications

• Dependability, communication skills, and an excellent work ethic.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to learn and use registration software.
• Prefer experience with cash and credit transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, non-members and guests at all times.
• Monitor traffic flow into and out of the facility.
• Handle court reservations, and all P.O.S transactions.
• Responsible for collecting payments for memberships, lessons, classes, programs and pro shop.
• Answer phones and transfer calls to the appropriate department, taking accurate messages.
• Ensure registration and check-in/check-out procedures are followed as members, non-members and guests arrive and depart.
• Stock display areas as needed.
• Conduct scheduled walk-throughs of key areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean up and report safety concerns as needed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as required.
• Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by supervisor and management.
• Relay information to the supervisor.
