Mission Action LLC is hiring a Housing Education & Community Engagement Specialist in San Francisco to lead tenant education, outreach, and multilingual community engagement through the MSROC program funded by the SF DBI. The role emphasizes collaboration with tenant counselors, promotoras, and partner organizations to ensure culturally responsive housing education and access to resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach, tenant education or related social services work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tenant education and community engagement strategies aligned with program goals.
• Coordinate and facilitate tenant rights workshops, housing education sessions, and community meetings.
• Support multilingual outreach and educational materials creation and distribution.
• Coordinate outreach activities with staff, promotoras, and community partners.
• Build relationships with tenants, tenant leaders, and community organizations.
• Support resident leadership development and tenant engagement activities.
• Collaborate with counselors and partners to connect tenants to services and referrals.
• Track outreach, workshop participation and engagement data for reporting.
