Job summary

LGE Design Build in Phoenix seeks a Project Engineer/Tenant Improvement to organize procurement, track scopes, documents, safety, QA, and change orders.

You will oversee schedules, owner contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, shop drawings, and act as a technical information source for the project team.

The role emphasizes teamwork, deadlines, accurate documentation, and mentoring junior engineers, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and construction management documentation.
• Ability to manage schedules and change orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Implement duties with accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.
• Review submittals and RFIs per contract documents and project needs.
• Participates in bids and assists owner and PM in recording/reviewing bids.
• Chairs meetings, prepares minutes, and follows up on actions.
• Prepare change orders and track pricing; maintain logs.
• Maintain scheduling information and project documentation.
• Coordinate permits and Certificates of Occupancy.
• Coordinate utility matters as directed.
• Upload drawings to Procore and keep drawings current.
• Establish processes for handling project information requests.
• Mentor junior P.E.’s or interns as needed.
