Qualifications

• 3 years building maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• General knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and hot water.

Responsibilities

• Recordkeeping: monitor and maintain records, keep paperwork, track vendors and quotes.
• Safety: identify unsafe conditions and respond; available for after-hours emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Floor inspections: conduct daily building and system inspections and coordinate with staff.
• Office maintenance: keep offices and common areas clean and orderly.
• Heat and hot water: monitor systems and notify management of issues; coordinate repairs.
• Repairs: direct repairs to appliances/fixtures and coordinate after-hours requests.
• Work of contractors: monitor outside contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Maintenance of equipment/supplies: manage inventory, ensure safe operation and cleanliness.
