Job summary

WS Development seeks a Tenant Construction Manager to lead the relationship with tenants through design, lease, and openings. You will translate construction and regulatory requirements into clear guidance, coordinate across leasing, legal, and design teams, and manage budgets and milestones.

You’ll drive high-touch service, anticipate tenants' needs, and leverage AI tools to draft communications, track progress, and accelerate plan reviews while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience in tenant construction, project management, or owner’s representative roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant relationships through design, lease execution, and store openings.
• Coordinate across leasing, legal, property management, design, and external partners.
• Own critical path, track milestones, surface risks early, and keep parties aligned.
• Draft/negotiates construction work letters and manage project budgets.
• Leverage AI tools to improve communications, milestones, and plan reviews.
