Montgomery College, Rockville and Germantown campuses, seeks temporary part-time pool lifeguards to monitor and maintain a safe aquatic environment for the college community. Responsibilities include lifeguarding, water chemistry checks, staffing the sign-desk, and assisting with locker room issues.
The role requires Montgomery County approved lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR with AED certifications, and eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Montgomery College, Rockville and Germantown campuses, seek candidates for temporary PT Pool Lifeguards in the Facilities Department. This is an evergreen requisition, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis to support current and anticipated staffing needs. While applications are reviewed regularly, please note, a position may not be actively available at the time you apply. This is a non-bargaining, non-exempt position. For non-exempt positions, you are not eligible to work a secondary job at Montgomery College. Hiring Range: $18.00 per hour
Part-time, temporary positions are not eligible to work more than 25 hours per week.
This is a part-time, temporary position without benefits and is funded through June 30, 2027. Employment continuation beyond this period is contingent upon need and funding.
As a condition of employment, the following are required at the time of hire: Successful completion of a background check and degree verification (if applicable).
For degrees earned outside of the U.S., a copy of your education equivalency, conducted by a nationally recognized evaluation service, must be included in your application.
