Florida International University’s Parking and Transportation Department seeks a Temporary Supervisor to lead a team of customer service and operations professionals in our Miami campus operations. The role emphasizes high-quality customer interactions and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;

• 2 years of experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of parking and transportation operations is a plus.

Job Summary

The Parking and Transportation Department is currently seeking a Temporary Supervisor to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of parking and transportation operations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends as needed.
