The Temporary Student Services Assistant V provides support for specialized academic records functions within the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). This role focuses on student record review, duplicate record resolution, compliance-related records requests, and operational support for diploma services.
The position assists with complex records maintenance activities requiring careful review, analysis, documentation management, and adherence to federal regulations, institutional policies and privacy requirements. This role works closely with the University Registrar, Deputy University Registrar and the Academic Records and Operations staff and campus partners to ensure the integrity of university records and support regulatory compliance obligations. This is a full-time, six-month temporary position with the possibility of extension depending on the needs of the office.
This is a full-time (39 hours per week), six-month temporary position based in Ithaca, NY, with the potential for extension depending on the needs of the office. The position is fully on-site and offers an hourly rate of $29.45 to $31.66, commensurate with education and experience. Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is benefits eligible.
