Job summary

Prairie Island Indian Community seeks a Temporary Manager on Duty to provide day-to-day leadership at Dakota Station Convenience Store. You will support employees, uphold customer service standards and ensure safe, efficient operations per store policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail, convenience store, food service or customer service.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally.
• Basic POS, cash handling, computer and recordkeeping skills or ability to learn.
• Follow store policies, procedures, safety standards and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as designated manager during assigned shifts.
• Ensure opening, operation and closing of the store.
• Monitor staffing, workflow and ensure products are stocked, priced and rotated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stock areas.
• Address operational issues and communicate concerns to Store Manager or supervisor.
• Complete required logs, checklists and records accurately.
