Job summary

North Wind Portage, Inc. seeks a Temporary Security Officer to provide physical protection and surveillance of assets, personnel, and operations at Moab and Crescent Junction. The role includes access control, escort duties, and reporting from a site security shack, with flexible shifts and potential overtime.

The position requires a High School Diploma and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government PIV credential, plus a valid driver license and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with extreme weather conditions and temperature variations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, spoken, and visible signals while using protective equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control by checking for proper badge/ID at Moab and Crescent Junction entrances.
• Provide point-of-contact assistance to train crew and notify project management of issues.
• Transport train crew on rail siding at Crescent Junction.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure doors and gates are secured at day end.
• Inspect Crescent Junction water pond and report any issues.
