Job summary

North Wind Portage in Moab, Utah is seeking a Facilities Laborer to support the UMTRA project. You will perform construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks at Moab and Crescent Junction sites, conduct repairs, clean and decontaminate areas, and ensure compliance with project policies and safety regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–3 years in construction or related duties, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and night

Qualifications

• Clear communication is required, both oral and written.
• Team orientation and ability to perform multiple functions.
• Willingness and ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and corrective repairs and services on site buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Perform cleaning and decontamination activities.
• Perform all duties in accordance with project policies and procedures, and complying with all federal, state, and local regulations for secure and safe operation.
• Conduct a thorough inspection of the tools and equipment assigned.
• Safely operate tools and equipment in different configurations as assigned.
• Properly complete all necessary paperwork as required by project procedures and federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform work required in a timely manner and maintain adequate production to meet service schedules.
