Job summary

Advanced Group seeks a Scientist, Bioanalytical Sciences to support drug discovery and DMPK research with LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules and PK analysis. The role involves bioanalytical data generation, PK reporting, formulation testing, and ADME-related activities to advance programs.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on LC-MS/MS experience, solid PK knowledge, and experience with biological matrices in a research setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with 2+ years' LC-MS/MS bioanalysis
• Experience supporting PK data analysis
• Knowledge of bioanalytical sample preparation and workflows
• Strong data analysis, documentation, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Perform LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules in biological matrices (plasma, blood, serum, tissue)
• Conduct bioanalytical testing to support PK, TK, PD, efficacy and drug discovery studies
• Prepare/ process biological samples using established extraction methods
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation and lab equipment
• Perform PK data analysis and contribute to PK reports
• Support DMPK activities through data generation, analysis, reporting, and database management
• Assist with formulation development, testing, and in vitro stability assessments
• Support ADME studies (metabolic stability, hepatocyte, microsomal, plasma stability, protein binding)
• Coordinate with external research partners and contribute to study execution and data review
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and communicate findings to project teams

This role will contribute to bioanalytical data generation, PK reporting, formulation testing, and ADME-related activities to advance research programs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on LC-MS/MS experience, a solid understanding of pharmacokinetics, and experience working with biological matrices in a research environment.

• Perform LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules in biological matrices including plasma, blood, serum, tissue, and related preclinical samples.
• Conduct bioanalytical testing to support pharmacokinetic (PK), toxicokinetic (TK), pharmacodynamic (PD), efficacy, and drug discovery studies.
• Prepare and process biological samples using established extraction and bioanalytical methods.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation and associated laboratory equipment.
• Perform PK data analysis and contribute to PK report generation and study interpretation.
• Support DMPK activities through data generation, analysis, reporting, and database management.
• Assist with formulation development, formulation testing, and in vitro stability assessments.
• Support ADME studies, including metabolic stability, hepatocyte, microsomal, plasma stability, and protein binding evaluations.
• Coordinate activities with external research partners and contribute to study execution and data review.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, analyze experimental results, and communicate findings to project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience performing LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules in biological matrices.
• Experience supporting PK data analysis and interpretation.
• Knowledge of bioanalytical sample preparation, extraction techniques, and laboratory workflows.
• Strong data analysis, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and standard data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Phoenix WinNonlin or similar pharmacokinetic analysis software.
• Experience supporting DMPK and ADME studies.
• Experience with preclinical formulation development or in vitro formulation testing.
• Familiarity with HRMS, QTOF, or other advanced mass spectrometry platforms.
• Experience working with CROs or external laboratory partners.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or drug discovery research environments.
