• 5+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical development.
• Proven experience in analytical method development and protein characterization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods for biologic products.
• Perform protein characterization using chromatographic, electrophoretic, mass spectrometry, and biophysical techniques.
• Support upstream and downstream process development through analytical testing and data interpretation.
• Characterize product- and process-related impurities and support product quality assessments.
• Design, execute, analyze, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments independently.
• Process and interpret analytical data; prepare technical reports, protocols, SOPs, and scientific documentation.
• Support technology transfer activities and oversee analytical work performed by external laboratory partners.
• Contribute to manufacturing support activities and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training as needed.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, or a related industry environment.
• Strong experience in analytical method development, protein characterization, and biologics development.
• Hands-on experience with protein characterization techniques, including peptide mapping, chromatography, electrophoretic methods, mass spectrometry, and biophysical assays.
• Experience supporting process development and analytical testing activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Experience authoring technical reports, protocols, and scientific documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting recombinant proteins, protein conjugates, antibodies, or related biologic products.
• Experience managing external laboratory, manufacturing, or research partners.
• Experience supporting technology transfer, GMP activities, and regulatory submissions.
• Familiarity with CMC documentation and regulated development environments.
• Prior project leadership, mentoring, or team leadership experience.
