The Agroecology Lab Technician will work under the supervision of the Agroecology Professor to support the Agroecology Lab and the Agroecology Education Farm. The technician will assist in a variety of tasks aimed at data visualization and statistics related to the Agroecology Education Farm and the Diverse Rotations Improve Valuable Ecosystem Services ( DRIVES ) Project. Key responsibilities will include coding, database management, and developing work flows for data capture and transformation.
This position will be best served by someone with good computer and organizational skills. It is expected that the person serving in this role will develop skills and knowledge on the job so a good attitude, strong interest in sustainable agriculture, and enthusiasm to learn will be essential.
