An established industry player is seeking a Temporary Research Technician to assist in vital lab and field projects focused on water quality. This role involves conducting fieldwork in diverse weather conditions, maintaining equipment, and analyzing water samples to ensure quality control. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with research scientists while contributing to significant environmental studies. Assist research scientists with ongoing lab and field projects on local and State water bodies. This includes travel to aquatic field sites to conduct field work in all weather conditions on a regular basis; operation and trailering of boats with outboard motors; maintenance of field equipment; calibration of data sonde sensors; maintenance of detailed logs and record keeping completed on each sampling date; analyses of water samples collected, including all aspects of required quality control/quality assurance; and assist in compiling all data reporting and final database entries. Also provide support for general duties in all aspects of the CAAE laboratories, education outreach program and administration.
