Job Summary

Arizona Liver Health/Arizona Clinical Trials seeks qualified candidates for a TEMPORARY Research Pharmacy Technician position in Flagstaff.

Title: TEMPORARY -- Research Pharmacy Technician (Flagstaff, AZ)

Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Full-time, 3-Month Contract (overtime eligible)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Start Date: May 19th, May 27th, or June 2nd

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and verifying the accuracy of investigational product prescriptions
• Reviewing and recording patient medication information per protocol
• Stocking pharmacy inventory
• Educating patients on medication administration
• Supporting the Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations
• Adhering to infection-control protocols to ensure safety
• Disbursing medications to patients
• Answering patient calls and questions
• Maintaining a clean and compliant pharmacy environment
• Maintaining accountability logs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy tech in a clinical, hospital, or pharmacy setting
• Ability to adhere to IRB-approved protocols
• Understanding of GCP and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Availability for weekend work as needed
• Effective communication, attention to detail, time management, and computer skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or active Pharmacy Tech license preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in clinical research preferred
