Job summary

Sana Benefits is hiring a Temporary Member Advocate to support members with health insurance and employer benefits across phone, text, chat, and email.

You'll help onboarding, assist with care navigation, provider referrals, and claims issues, while offering clear guidance and empathetic service. This role is remote from US locations and involves collaboration with a growing team of care professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching preferred.
• Excellent communication and remote-work comfort.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Comfortable navigating health insurance and employer benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance in health insurance and employer benefits across multiple channels (phone, text, chat, email).
• Assist onboarding and help members select appropriate health plans.
• Help with care journey issues, provider navigation, claims issues, and referrals to care managers.
• Provide feedback to product team to improve member experiences.
• Strive to ensure members feel cared for and supported.
