Job summary

Sana is seeking a compassionate Member Advocate (Contractor) to join our customer support team. You will help members navigate health plans, benefits, and care journeys across phone, text, chat, and email, delivering clear, accurate guidance.

As a remote role on a distributed team, you will onboarding new members, resolving issues, and escalating to clinical care managers when needed, while shaping better experiences for our users and employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with remote work and distributed teams.
• Excellent communicator across channels (phone, text, chat, email).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate guidance in health insurance and employer benefits across multiple channels.
• Assist onboarding of new customers and help them select appropriate health plans.
• Support members with care journey issues, provider finding, claims issues, or referrals to care managers.
• Give product feedback to improve member support experiences.
• Strive to ensure members feel cared for and valued.
