Job summary

The Doe Fund is seeking a Temporary Program Director for its permanent supportive housing on Jerome Ave in Bronx. The role leads staff and residents, ensuring services align with program goals and regulatory requirements, and it will run for an anticipated 3-4 months.

The position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and experience with HIV/AIDS populations and city/state agencies. The incumbent will supervise clinical staff, manage operations, and ensure high-quality resident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a relevant field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience serving homeless or HIV/AIDS populations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the supportive housing program.
• Direct coordination of administrative, clinical, building maintenance, and residential services.
• Monitor budget and ensure proper documentation for all expenses and accounts.
• Oversee intake processes and maintain full capacity.
• Provide 24-hour crisis intervention when needed.
• Deliver staff trainings on harm reduction, substance abuse, and mental health.
• Ensure HASA/ESSHI contract compliance and reporting.
• Supervise clinical staff and conduct performance evaluations.
