Overview

Temporary-Professional NonFaculty position at North Carolina State University. This role is up to 29 hours per week and supports research activities within the ITRE Research Group, primarily in roadway monitoring and roadway modeling. Responsibilities include assisting with research tasks related to web-mapping applications, updating Python scripts, and reporting, analysis, and communication with the research team and project sponsor. Additional tasks may be assigned based on the candidate’s background and expertise.

Essential Job Duties

This position, up to 29 hours per week, will support research activities within the Research Group at ITRE primarily in the areas of roadway monitoring and roadway modeling, among others. This position will assist with research tasks related to web-mapping applications, as well as updating all Python scripts. Additional tasks may be assigned to this position in other relevant areas, based on the candidate’s background and expertise. The candidate should also be proficient in reporting writing, analysis, and communicating with the research team and the project sponsor.

Minimum Experience / Education
