Job summary

Ebs Recruiters LLC is assisting a client in St. Charles County, MO, by sourcing a Temporary Payroll Specialist to assume full payroll ownership during a transition.

The role covers approximately 370 employees, with a mix of weekly and bi-weekly cycles, and requires strong UKG payroll system experience. The position is temporary/contract, with a standard day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), and offers flexible scheduling including four 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.
• Experience managing payroll independently from start to finish.
• UKG experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for approx. 370 employees.
• Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles.
• Review and validate timesheets and payroll data prior to processing.
• Process payroll deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefit withholdings.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records and employee payroll data.
• Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll information as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees and management.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to support payroll-related initiatives.
