Job summary

The Osborne Association in New York is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join the Facilities team at our 809 Bronx Office. The role performs custodial duties to keep the facility clean and safe and provides basic maintenance and repair as needed.

The position reports to the Facilities Manager and is up to 28 hours per week for up to six months, with possible extension. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid NY driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in building trade, building systems, or repair is a plus.
• Valid New York State driver’s license with few points.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Provide basic maintenance and repair as needed.
• Operate basic building systems such as boilers and heating.
• Move, install, and arrange furniture and equipment.
• Attend required training and collaborate in person with staff.
• Work up to 28 hours per week for up to six months.
