Urban Pathways, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker in the Bronx, NY, to perform routine cleaning, basic repairs, and building upkeep. The role supports safe operations and compliance with funding and regulatory guidelines.

The candidate will join a team that maintains the facility, executes preventive tasks, and ensures equipment is in good working order. A high school diploma and one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance and janitorial duties or equivalent.
• Experience with homeless populations and mental health/substance use contexts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the facility in compliance with policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Monitor safety and respond to issues, reports to supervisor as needed.
