Willow Springs School is seeking a Paraprofessional for a long-term leave position to support classroom instruction and student learning. The role runs from November 9, 2026 to February 1, 2027, approximately, starting November 9, 2026.

The paraprofessional will reinforce literacy, math, and other skills, assist with assignments, manage classroom routines, supervise during lunch and transitions, and ensure alignment with district goals.

Competenze

• Possess a valid Illinois Paraprofessional License or substitute license.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, admins, and staff.
• Ability to support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

• Reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, technology, and other skills through individual and small-group support.
• Assist students in completing classroom assignments and participating in instructional activities.
• Support classroom management and reinforce expectations to promote a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Provide student supervision during lunch, recess, hallway transitions, and other non-instructional activities.
• Follow Board of Education policies, district procedures, and Illinois School Code requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by administration.
