Qualifications include an Associate degree or ParaPro exam passing score within one year, and experience with special needs students.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or ParaPro exam within one year of employment is required.
• Experience with children with special needs and disabilities.
• Knowledge of CPI, CPR/First Aid and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Assist with arrival and departure of students and monitor hallways.
• Greet students and assist with special needs equipment.
• Provide instructional support and read to students.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
• Prepare classrooms and materials for daily activities.
