Job summary

Tiburon Hills in Poway, CA is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist Assistant for a temporary assignment through January 2027 to assist the Staff OT with resident care and treatment plans. You will document accurately and maintain safety while supporting rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include implementing OT plans, educating residents and families, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and assisting with equipment needs and program development as directed by the supervising

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and policies.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care and treatment plans.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant care records.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist with equipment ordering to promote independence in ADLs.
