Third Sector New England, Inc. (TSNE) is seeking a Temporary Junior Counsel to support contracting for fiscally sponsored projects and TSNE.

Under supervision, draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and grants while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, client service, and teamwork within a fast-paced legal team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and MA license to practice law is required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of contract drafting/negotiation experience at high volume.
• Experience with contract management systems and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and grants for TSNE and its fiscally sponsored projects.
• Manage assigned contracts through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely turnaround.
• Collaborate with Legal Team and stakeholders to address business terms and mitigate risk.
