Third Sector New England, Inc. (TSNE) is seeking a temporary Junior Counsel in Boston to support contracts for funded programs and TSNE's operations.

Under the Associate General Counsel, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, leases, and Master Service Arrangements. This full-time temporary position runs roughly from November 16 to December 24, 2026, emphasizes timely contract turnaround, risk mitigation, and clear communication with clients

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active MA license.
• 1–3 years of contract negotiation and drafting experience.
• Experience with contract management systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and grants for TSNE’s FSPs and internal teams.
• Own assigned contracts from drafting through signature within targets.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues to align business terms and timelines.
• Identify and mitigate contract risks related to missions and programs.
• Collaborate with the Legal Team to meet stakeholders’ contract needs.
