Job summary

The North Carolina A&T State University School of Nursing seeks a Temporary Mobile Program Coordinator - Clinical Support (Part-time). The role coordinates mobile simulation experiences and community wellness events, providing clinical and logistical support, and assisting with setting up equipment and driving the mobile unit as needed.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs or LPNs with at least two years of clinical or education experience, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to travel

• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver mobile-based simulation experiences and community wellness events.

• Assist with event setup and break-down, equipment setup, and take-down.
• Drive the mobile unit when required and travel to event locations as scheduled.

Primary Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this role is to support the School of Nursing in coordinating and delivering mobile-based simulation experiences and community wellness events. This part-time position is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) or Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about hands‑on education, preventive health, and community engagement. The Coordinator will provide clinical and logistical support, help with event setup and simulation activities, and drive the mobile unit when necessary.
Work Hours:
10-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on events (includes occasional evenings or weekends)

The School of Nursing is dedicated to equipping individuals for the nursing profession, ensuring they possess the essential skills & knowledge for quality, safe, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive program offerings include traditional bachelor of science in nursing ( BSN ) tracks, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( ABSN ), and RN to BSN pathways. • Applicant must hold a current & unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or Compact State License
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience (community health, simulation, or education experience preferred)
