Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Temp Merchandise Assistant to support daily operations within the designated buying area and assist the buying team with merchandise flow. You will learn to build cross-functional relationships with markets, distribution centers, design, and production, and partner with Buyers on necessary tasks.

The role requires 1-2 years of retail experience or internship, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage samples, photos, and data across platforms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own web turnover and product information.
• Manage sample requests and SKU tracking across web, creative, and marketing.
• Maintain digital photographs of items on order and in development.
• Support product development through sample management.
• Track, ship, and receive items; return samples to vendors promptly.
• Communicate changes to cross-functional teams and partners.
• Balance priorities for sample needs; conduct weekly web audits.
• Build positive relationships with vendor base.
