Job summary

URBN's Anthropologie in Philadelphia is seeking a Temp Merchandise Assistant to support daily operations within the buying area. You will partner with Buyers and cross-functional teams to manage merchandise flow, sample tracking, and web turnover.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendor communications, sample management, and weekly web audits. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Understand customer wants to identify product/trend that fits expectations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
• General math skills used in retail analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own web turnover and product information management.
• Manage sample requests and SKU tracking for web photos, creative, and marketing needs.
• Maintain digital photos of items for systems; support product development with samples.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and returns of samples to vendors.
• Communicate updates to cross-functional teams and partners in a timely manner.
• Conduct weekly web audits to verify styles/colors and report issues in meetings.
