Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Temporary Merchandise Assistant to support daily operations in your designated buying area and assist the merchandise flow. You will collaborate with the market, distribution center, planning, website merchandising, and brand teams to learn and develop cross-functional relationships.

This role involves product maintenance, PO processing, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely web updates and accurate product details across systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake actions to ensure merchandise live on the website in a timely fashion.
• Open sample purchase orders, review with buyer, take measurements, and pass to the appropriate team.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain missing samples or samples from the distribution center as needed.
• Provide brand creative/styling with samples of relevant styles on request.
• Update STEP with product information for brand creative/web producer team.
• Review Received Not Activated styles weekly and flag issues.
• Ensure accuracy of copy and on-site style details; alert team if corrections are needed.
• Partner with buying operations to ensure timely delivery of merchandise through clear communication.
