Job summary

The Museum of Science in Boston is seeking a Temporary Membership Associate to support the Membership Operations team during the busy November and December season.

This short-term, part-time role (3 days a week) is on-site with a mid-October start and an expected end date of 12/31/26. Days are flexible but will be agreed before start.

You will update records for data hygiene, print membership cards, assist with in-house mailings, and perform other duties as required by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere with multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong follow-through and solid organizational skills.
• Proven written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with a CRM or POS system (Museum uses Salesforce and Ticketure).

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to ensure data hygiene by updating records, inputting corrections, and flagging issues.
• Member card fulfillment for those requesting printed cards and gift memberships.
• Assist with in-house mailings.
• Perform other work-related duties as required by Manager.
