Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years of healthcare experience preferred including EMR system experience.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.
• Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient turnover of patient rooms and timely daily schedule flow.
• Provide patient care: take vitals, document intake forms, explain instructions.
• Maintain instruments and equipment: sterilize, disinfect, autoclave, and clean.
• Submit prior authorizations for medications, procedures, labs.
• Assist with updating supply orders and ensure full stock.
• Assist physicians and staff with procedures: setup, phlebotomy, injections, and medication prep.
• Daily preparation of EMR: upload labs, diagnostic studies, post-op reports, and authorizations.
