Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under general direction. You will enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR, request medical records, record vital signs, and facilitate patient flow.

You will maintain confidentiality, assist with forms, and ensure accurate paperwork. This is a temporary position through May 2027 with opportunities to support clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, staff, colleagues and the public.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into EMR; request medical records.
• Record vital signs and medical history; collect patient information.
• Ensure patient confidentiality in all areas per HIPAA rules.
• Prepare and maintain medical records; complete paperwork accurately.
• Provide patient education and relay provider orders to patients.
