Unio Health Partners (UHP) seeks a Medical Assistant to deliver patient care in partnership with a diverse clinical team. The role blends fibro-scan duties with MA responsibilities, ensuring efficient room turnover and accurate EMR preparation for upcoming appointments.

The candidate will support physicians with procedures, specimen collection, and patient instruction while maintaining supply readiness and documentation across the EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of healthcare experience preferred, with EMR experience.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient turnover of patient rooms and maintain timely daily schedule flow.
• Provide patient care: taking vitals, documenting intake forms, explaining procedures.
• Maintain instruments and equipment sanitation and storage.
• Submit prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and labs.
• Assist with updating supply orders and maintain stocked inventories.
• Assist physicians with procedures and specimen collection.
• Prepare EMR data for upcoming appointments and verify supplies.
