Job summary

Sanilac County CMH is seeking a Substitute Temporary Maintenance Technician (Non Union) to assist with maintenance operations across all CMH buildings in Michigan. The role supports building and grounds upkeep, snow removal in winter, and basic repairs, with a 40-hour week and flexible scheduling to ensure coverage.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Minimum of five years verifiable maintenance experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building maintenance operations at all facility sites.
• Remove snow and salt walkways during winter.
• Maintain and inspect machinery and safety systems.
• Prepare requisitions and manage supplies.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.
