Job summary

SHM LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Tech to keep a residential property in top condition in Midland, Michigan. You will perform routine repairs, handle on-call maintenance, and ensure safety and code compliance for residents.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, unit turnovers, grounds care, and ordering supplies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (heights, tight spaces, weather).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); RealPage experience a plus.
• Trade school or industry certifications a plus.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
