Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a temporary assignment starting ASAP. This onsite role requires handling written discovery, supporting filings in state and federal courts, and providing litigation support.

After an initial 90 days onsite, there may be a transition to a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite/3 days remote). Pay is $35-$45 per hour, parking is provided, and bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior litigation paralegal experience required.
• Strong experience handling all aspects of written discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery.
• Familiarity with California state and federal court filing procedures.
• Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with Westlaw is a plus; training can be provided.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of written discovery, including drafting, propounding, and responding to discovery requests.
• Assist with filings in California state and federal courts.
• Support attorneys and litigation teams with high-volume caseloads.
• Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines.
• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and case investigation as needed.
• Assist with trial preparation and general litigation support.
• Provide substantive case management assistance throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Position: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Start: ASAP

Duration: Temporary with potential for temp-to-hire conversion

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; some flexibility with start time

Work Arrangement: Onsite five days per week for the first 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite/3 days remote) thereafter
