Job summary

The City of Santa Clara Library is seeking a Library Technology Consultant to assist the public with library computers, electronic resources, printing, and audio-visual equipment.

This as-needed, at-will position pays $33.27 per hour. Hours are limited to 999 per fiscal year (960 hours for retired CalPERS) with Sundays required and minimum 12 hours per week, including some evenings and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or possession of a GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public with library computers, electronic resources, printing, and audio-visual equipment.
• Perform tasks involving computer and AV equipment, handle sensitive patron information, and money.
