Responsibilities

• Perform roads and grounds maintenance, including roads, pavements, drainage systems, culverts, etc. Maintain and repair roads and parking areas, including crack sealing, pothole repair, curbing, gutters, traffic, and pavement markings.
• Comply with Cavalier SFS plans, policies, and procedures. Generate and maintain all government records in the provided format and provide electronic reports.
• Apply industry standards and best practices, especially in the absence of directive technical orders and publications. Comply with local, state, and federal statutes.
• Safeguard assets and information, following security requirements.
• Provide escort support for personnel without unescorted entry authorization performing contracted functions.
• Complete required web-based training within the first three months and annually thereafter, including Force Protection and Cybersecurity awareness.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing, weed pulling, trimming bushes, and minor landscaping. Maintain service areas and clean-up.
• Remove ice and snow from sidewalks, entrances, and pedestrian areas to prevent hazards. Keep roads passable in all weather conditions and fire hydrants accessible.
• Maintain sidewalks and steps for safe access, free of snow, ice, and debris.
• Keep designated areas clean and orderly following instructions.
• Use industrial equipment for sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Perform general housekeeping, safety, and environmental tasks, including requisitioning supplies.
• Perform touch-up painting, coating, and corrosion control to ensure facility integrity.
• Keep facilities pest-free and free of litter outside the buildings.

Clearance Requirements
