Job description

Responsibilities include:

1. Visually inspect equipment and/or truck and trailer for safe operation
2. Operate vehicles, track mobile, screen plants, unload conveyors, radial stacker, skid steer & stationary equipment
3. Aid in all site clean-up and site maintenance
4. Maintain all required logs and equipment inspection records
5. Follow all safety rules on site and at factories
6. Keep coal, limestone, and coke free of contaminants for delivery
7. Continuously watch for moving equipment and hazards to ensure safety
8. Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

1. Inspect equipment for safety
2. Operate various machinery and vehicles
3. Assist in site clean-up and maintenance
4. Maintain logs and inspection records
5. Follow safety protocols
6. Ensure materials are free of contaminants
7. Prioritize safety at all times
8. Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

1. Audio & visual acuity
2. Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
3. Climb in and out of equipment
4. Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
5. Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, climb
6. Wear protective gear

Environmental Conditions:

1. Exposure to outdoor weather
2. Exposure to coal dust, silica dust, gasoline, and fuel vapors
3. Demonstrated math, reading, and writing skills

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. Valid Driver’s License preferred
3. Ability to work in a high dust environment with PPE
4. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
5. Complete pre-employment testing
